The stage of your rubber project determines the type of support you receive. Early-stage research is eligible for a grant. Startups or scale-ups are eligible for a loan or equity investment.

Do you combine your lab with the market?
Does your project have both an R& & D and a commercial component? If so, we’ll combine different forms of financing—such as a research grant with a loan to purchase equipment. This approach reduces risk and increases impact.
Green’er never invests alone
We require a minimum of 30% co-financing. This demonstrates market potential and helps spread the risk. Plus, it strengthens your network.
Co-financing can come from:
- Public funds: VLAIO, FPS Economy, EU Horizon
- Private investors: angels, VCs, corporate ventures
- Own funds or in-kind contributions
- Partnerships with industry
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I combine your funding with other grants?
Yes, that is possible, as long as there is no double funding for the same expense. We verify this during the due diligence phase.
Do I have to transfer my intellectual property rights?
This depends on the type of financing:
- Grants: In the event of commercial success, Green’er receives a limited right to the IP, proportional to the investment. This allows us to raise new funds for circular projects. You retain full ownership and control over your IP.
- Loans: No IP claim; the IP remains entirely yours.
- Equity participation: We take a stake in your company but make no direct claim to specific IP. The IP remains the property of the company.
How quickly is your money available?
Once approved, it usually takes 2–4 weeks to finalize the contract, after which payment is made according to the agreed-upon milestones.
What if my project needs more than €250,000?
For amounts exceeding €250,000, a unanimous decision by the Board of Directors is required, along with a detailed justification. Please contact us to discuss your project
