What is circular impact?
Circular impact goes beyond recycling. It’s about giving waste tires a full-fledged second life that’s just as good as—or even better than—the original. That means:
High-quality reuse
Green'er only funds projects that fully utilize rubber’s unique properties—resilience, durability, and insulation. Burning it for energy or shredding it for use as filler material is not enough.
Scalability
A successful pilot project is a start, not an end. A solution must be scalable to thousands of tons of rubber per year. Without that potential, the impact will remain limited.
Measurable results
How many tons of rubber are reused? How much CO₂ is saved? How much virgin material is replaced? We ask for specific goals for every project.
How we assess impact
Each submitted project is evaluated based on its circular impact, which accounts for 20% of the total score. To be eligible for funding, a project must score at least 12 out of 20 points. We consider three criteria:
Recycled materials
What percentage of your final product consists of recycled rubber? The higher that percentage, the better the score.
Reduction in environmental impact
How much CO₂ is saved compared to conventional production? Are harmful substances avoided? Does energy or water consumption decrease?
Life cycle benefits
How long does your product last? Can it be recycled again at the end of its life? Is there a closed-loop material cycle?

Better chances of securing funding
Green'er gives priority to projects with a strong circular impact. If you can demonstrate that your solution makes a structural contribution to waste reduction and CO₂ savings, you will significantly increase your chances.
Attractive to other investors
Circular impact matters not only to Green'er. More and more investors, companies, and public funds are paying attention to sustainability performance. A strong score with Green'er strengthens your position when seeking follow-on financing.
Stronger market position

Monitoring Report

This data serves three purposes: demonstrating our own impact, attracting new funds for further investments, and informing the sector about what works.
